This collaboration assessed the preclinical to clinical predictive validity of several rodent seizure models to uncover which tests were most informative for clinical focal seizure treatment. The models with the highest clinical concordance were the maximal electroshock test and 6 Hz test, followed closely by the corneal kindled mouse.
